Introduction Ink-Lique’™ Lecture 1.5 hours

Ink-Lique’™ is the unique process Sherry used on her quilt Tribal Fusion, Lollapalooza and Hallelujah that have taken numerous ribbons and accolades over the past several years. In this presentation you will learn Sherry’s design process and all of Sherry’s secrets to inking and painting success.  Sherry will go over each step of her technique with you from the beginning in 2007 to its progression into 2013 and bring oodles of inspiration to lead you down her colorful path.

Sherry will provide a PowerPoint presentation and a trunk show of all of her colorful quilts

Paint-Lique™

Every adult likes to color, why not on a fabric? Have you ever quilted a whole cloth quilt and had it disappear on your wall? Do you wish your digitized designs were more colorful?  In this class we will dip into the colorful world of dry pigment paints and make that plain whole cloth quilt sing!  Sherry will provide a pre-quilted sample and provide you with all her painting experience so that you can customize the quilt with your favorite color combinations. We will be using Primary Elements - Polished Pigments Pure Color™  www.dreamingcolor.com. Sherry will provide many pigments for classroom use and has oodles of samples to drool over. You'll never look at another quilt design or embroidery design the same boring way again! Everyone is welcome and no quilting experience is necessary to enjoy this exciting technique!

Kit Fee include a pre-quilted original design by Sherry, 4 pigments and a 3 oz bottle of PaintFusion.

You will be using Sherry’s vast collection of ink pencils, Gelly Roll pens and Polished Pigments and you will learn how to choose colors, which technique best fits your quilt, shading, highlighting and antiquing and the importance of outlining.  No quilting experience is necessary to enjoy the benefit of this class.
