Sherry designed this pattern exclusively for her workshops in Lancaster PA. and she now is sharing it with you! LANCASTER STAR is the ultimate "quilt in a day" size coming in at 34" X 34" finished......I bet you have the perfect yard of fabric on hand just waiting for this pattern!
The pattern is easily transferred to your fabric by way of a light-source of your choice. Sherry uses a Dritz Mark B Gone water soluble pen to transfer the design. You choose the thread color and just follow the lines with your hand guided machine of choice. Yes, even you hand quilters can play along! You can quilt it as is or change a few elements along the way to customize it to your liking. The possibilities are truly endless and after it is finished Sherry will upload your personal quilt to the website to show others what you have done. How fun is that! This is a great way to practice along and you get a lovely little quilt top to call your own in the end! Who will be the first to add ink and color this little number???
